Learn to Make Socks
We have taken a new direction with our Learn to Make Socks class.
In this 4 sessions workshop, you'll learn the following:
1. How to use double pointed needles and the magic loop technique. Once you learn both options, you get to practice for a week before choosing your desired method for making socks.
2. Session 2 will incorporate casting on using your preferred method, then joining for knitting in the round and the beginning of your sock.
3. By the third Session, you will learn to turn the sock heel and will continue on your path to a completed pair of socks.
4. Your homework will be to get to near completion on your sock so when you return for Session 4 you'll learn the kitchener stitch to graft your toe together.
This is a journey that will allow you to always have a small project bag with a sock project inside. They travel well and keep your feet comfortable and warm when finished.
